Aufgaben Second level IT support to Windows-based PCs for Santos Ltd, an Australian petroleum company, working alone and based mostly at the gas processing facility in the Cooper Basin in the remote outback on a rotating two week roster. Provided support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, mobile devices and networks over a wide area. This was performed over the phone, in person and by way of remote control (Windows SMS, LogMeIn, etc). Furthermore, tested and documented new software applications to ensure software functions correctly without administrator rights using a virtual PC environment. Also performed user 1999 Windows 95 roll-out, year 2000 testing and staff training for the South Australian Correctional Services, which involved visiting every jail in South Australia, testing computers for year 2000 compliance and staff training.
