SAP Consultant (m/w/d) SAP BW/4HANA

We are looking for an experienced SAP BW/4HANA Consultant to support the technical operation and enhancement of an existing BW/4HANA landscape. The focus is on integrating SAP and non-SAP source systems, ensuring stable operations (lifecycle, patches, releases) and building monitoring frameworks at the interface between SAP Basis and application management.

Your tasks

• Provide technical consulting and operational support in a SAP BW/4HANA environment

• Connect SAP and non-SAP source systems to BW/4HANA, including regular coordination with source system owners and external providers

• Operate and configure all relevant system components (HANA DB, application servers, ODP framework, SDI framework, SAP Analytics Cloud Agent, Cloud Agent)

• Handle lifecycle management of software and components (patching, release upgrades including SPAU)

• Design and implement application-related monitoring frameworks and system parameterisation for stable 24/7 operations

• Document all operations-relevant aspects of the BW/4HANA landscape and hand over to the client in a structured way

• Record, communicate and track technical incidents transparently until resolution

• Participate in jour fixe and project meetings with the customer and provide technical status updates

Your profile

• Several years of hands-on experience in operating and technically consulting SAP BW/4HANA systems in production environments

• Strong knowledge of SAP BW/4HANA, SAP HANA and BW-specific system configuration

• Proven experience integrating SAP and non-SAP source systems into BW/4HANA (e.g. via ODP, SDI or comparable frameworks)

• Solid background in lifecycle management (patching, release upgrades, SPAU) in productive SAP landscapes

• Practical experience in setting up and operating monitoring and logging concepts for BW/4HANA applications

• Used to working at the interface between SAP Basis and application management, including cross-team coordination

• Confident communication in English (spoken and written); German is an advantage but not mandatory
